StartUp Breeze (SB) supports business ideas and life sciences startups in refining and strengthening their value proposition, thanks to an extensive network of partners (investment funds, innovation centers, incubators, accelerators, and other sector operators). SB provides selected ventures with expertise, tools, and networking opportunities to fully develop and leverage their business potential, as evaluated by a committee of experts and specialized investors.

Selected finalists benefit from a customized entrepreneurial program, including thematic seminars and in-depth sessions with expert coaches in the sector. The program concludes with the presentation of their proposals to investors and potential corporate partners at the final event — the Pinwheel Pitching Stage — where the most innovative proposal is awarded by a panel of experts, along with Special Awards granted by some of the initiative’s partners (see the regulations).

Who can apply

StartUp Breeze is open to business proposals (business ideas or startups) with a TRL between 3 and 5 (for more details on the TRL definition in this sector, see here), operating in the following fields:

• Medical devices

• Digital health (digital solutions closely linked to therapy or diagnosis)

• Pharmaceutical/biotech

• Related supply chains
