The School actively participates in leading networks in the field of knowledge transfer. Being part of these networks ensures ongoing engagement with the most advanced experiences in the field and enhances the impact of the School’s efforts to promote research valorization.

The Scuola Normale is a member of Netval, the Italian network for research valorization, which includes universities, public research institutions, and IRCCSs, and is strongly committed to building a community of professionals in TTO (Technology Transfer Office) Management.

It is also one of the founding members of JoTTO, the joint technology transfer office involving the six Italian Schools of Excellence: Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, IUSS School for Advanced Studies Pavia, SISSA in Trieste, and GSSI in L’Aquila.

The School is also part of URTT – the Regional Office for Technology Transfer, an initiative promoted by the Tuscany Region that brings together local universities to foster collaboration with businesses through scouting activities and patent valorization.
