Module 3. Tools for the funding of innovative companies
One of the most critical aspects in the creation of new companies linked to the results of research is that of funding and the obtaining of resources for the initial stage.
There exist various tools and subjects providing support to neo-entrepreneurs, answering to the varying characteristics of the new companies.
The aim of this module is to demonstrate these tools and their potential as told by some of its main protagonists: former researchers who have formed a company and who have received funding, and venture capitalists and business angels who select on an annual basis several dozen proposals from a wide variety of scientific fields.
The module will also feature other types of calls and funding offered by local and international subjects in support of innovation and entrepreneurship, plus some legal and operational aspects linked to the formation of start-up companies.
