Three days in Bolzano dedicated to innovation, dialogue with investors and startups, and the creation of new connections between research, business, and the market.
From September 9 to 11, 2026, the Scuola Normale Superiore took part in To The Peak 2026, an international event dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship that brought together startup founders, investors, businesses, and accelerators in Bolzano.
Born from the evolution of Bolzano Slush’D and part of the international Slush’D community, To The Peak 2026 serves as a meeting point for the Italian and European innovation ecosystems. The 2026 edition involved over 1,000 participants from 21 countries, 150 startups, and more than 200 international investors, featuring one-to-one meetings, networking, masterclasses, and pitch sessions.
During the event, researchers from the Scuola had the opportunity to attend speeches and keynote presentations, showcase their work, and engage with venture capitalists, startups, businesses, and investors. These meetings allowed them to gather feedback, establish new connections, and explore potential opportunities for collaboration and development.
Among the highlights of the event was the Startup Competition, where startups competed for a total investment of 460,000 euros. The winner of the 2026 edition was Finanz, a Milan-based startup that developed an app dedicated to financial education and management.
Participation in To The Peak represented an important opportunity for the Scuola to strengthen dialogue with the world of innovation and investment, supporting researchers in exploring the application and entrepreneurial potential of their research.
