On May 5th, at the Polo Tecnologico di Navacchio,  PhD students took part in the second module of the SNS 5.0 course Research, Innovation, Impact: how to enhance knowledge through the creation of a spin-off? The session featured presentations from three spin-offs — INTA srl (Matteo Agostini, CEO & Co-founder), VIS Virtual Immersion Science Srl (Marcos Valdes, Founder, CEO & Scientific Director), and ABzero srl (Giuseppe Tortora, Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder) — as well as from the venture capital firm Scientifica Venture (Lucilla Mazzeo, Dealflow & Scouting Specialist). The session concluded with a summary talk on key issues by Andrea Piccaluga (Full Professor at the Institute of Management, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna).
