Graduate courses in QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY AND NANOSCIENCE – Applications are open

Applications are open until July 26, 2024 for two fellowships in QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY AND NANOSCIENCE

📣 If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in physics, engineering, biology, materials science, chemistry or related fields, and you want to work in research and innovation, you can apply for a fellowship to study innovative superconducting quantum technologies applied to quantum computation and energy management of quantum systems as part of the PhD in Quantum Technology and Nanoscience at Scuola Normale. The curriculum, which is of strategic importance within the European University Alliance EELISA, will provide you with cutting-edge advanced training. Most of the research will take place at the National Enterprise for NanoScience and NanoTechnology (NEST) of the Scuola Normale. Close collaborations and frequent exchanges with partner laboratories in the EELISA network, including the Ecole Normale Supérieure and its Master of Science in Quantum Engineering, the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, will also be part of the program.
The grant will be co-funded by the PNRR (M4C2-I.3.3) and the Planckian enterprise, a Spin-Off of the Scuola Normale and the University of Pisa that wants to revolutionize the future of energy with its instantaneously recharging quantum battery. Study and research periods at the company itself and abroad will also be part of the program. Teaching activities include lectures and seminar courses, all conducted in English.
You have until July 26, 2024. For more info https://www.sns.it/it/programma-di-dottorato-quantum-technology-and-nanoscience
