The ERC Proof of Concept 2025 call, within the Horizon Europe funding framework, is open from 13 November 2024. The call aims to maximise the value of excellent research that the ERC funds by supporting further activities to verify the innovation potential of ideas arising from ERC-funded projects.

Principal Investigators with an ongoing or completed project after 1 January 2024 are eligible to apply to the call. The financial contribution will be a maximum of €150,000 for a period of 18 months.

Two calls are planned:

• 1st cut-off from 13/11/2024 to 13/03/2025
• 2nd cut-off from 14/03/2025 to 18/09/2025
