‘EELISA Prototype Contest’ is the 4-day event, organised by EELISA, in cooperation with JOSEPHS, the Open Innovation Lab of the FAU University of Nuremberg, during which 25 applicants will have the opportunity to participate by showing their developed prototypes (or prototype ideas). The event includes a workshop, held by Open Innovation experts, during which participants will learn how to innovate in a customer-centric manner, how to best position their prototype on the market and how to obtain valuable feedback from potential customers. Furthermore, after a pitch training session, the workshop will conclude with the setting up of their own test space, the opportunity to get feedback from professionals in a public event and the announcement of the best prototype of the Contest.
The event will take place from 10 to 13 December 2024, at the Open Innovation Lab JOSEPHS, in Nuremberg and is aimed at spin-off and research groups belonging to EELISA Network Institutions and associated Partner Institutions (including start-ups founded by former students of these Institutions). Start-ups from incubators connected to EELISA Network Institutions are also allowed to participate.
The costs for the EELISA Co-Creation Workshop at JOSEPHS from 10 to 13 December 2024 will be covered by EELISA at FAU with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Travel costs to Nuremberg and subsistence costs outside the workshop are covered by the EELISA local office at each EELISA institution.
