Alte frequenze: Artificial Intelligence and Ethics

The New Event Hosted by Polo Tecnologico Navacchio and Scuola Normale Superiore

Innovation, on its own, is not enough: it must also be responsible. In an age when artificial intelligence is radically transforming the world of work, decision-making processes, and social relationships, the fundamental question is no longer simply what technology is capable of doing, but for whom and at what cost.

This is the central topic of the new meeting in the “HIGH FREQUENCIES” talk series, organized by the Polo Tecnologico di Navacchio in collaboration with the Scuola Normale Superiore. The initiative was created to bring together diverse experiences and perspectives on the same wavelength, spark meaningful connections, and create new opportunities for the region and the innovation ecosystem.

The featured speakers for the event are Luna Bianchi and Diletta Huyskes, researchers, activists, entrepreneurs, and Co-Founders & Co-CEOs of Immanence, an Italian benefit corporation specializing in ethical and responsible artificial intelligence.

Drawing on their extensive experience in analyzing the social impacts and ethical implications of digital technologies, the speakers will demonstrate how ethics and innovation are not at odds with one another. On the contrary, organizations that place responsibility at the core of their strategy do not slow down progress, but make it more robust, sustainable, and resilient over time.

An unmissable opportunity to reflect on what it truly means to develop and use artificial intelligence responsibly and why this represents a strategic challenge that affects us all.
