A three-dimensional dispersible nanoresonators structure for biological , medical and environmental applications and a method for manufacture thereof

A three-dimensional nano-resonator structure comprising a stack of laterally confined layers including at least a first and second layer of conductive material between which a dielectric layer is interposed, which have at least one respective accessible surface area exposed to an immersion environment of the structure.

Patent abstract

A three-dimensional nanorisoner structure is described, comprising a stack of laterally confined layers including at least a first and a second layer of conductive material between which a dielectric layer is interposed, which have at least one respective accessible surface area exposed to an immersion environment of the structure. A plurality of three-dimensional nanorisonators dispersible in an environment is made from an array of nanorisonators anchored to a sacrificial substrate, which are subsequently separated from the substrate and conjugated with a chemical agent suitable for facilitating the formation of a stable colloidal suspension of nanorisonators in a liquid medium.
