DRIV-ER (Deep-tech Research & Innovation Ventures in Emilia-Romagna) is officially open. This initiative is designed to support the creation and growth of new high-tech enterprises.

The program targets researchers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and startups with innovative projects in the deep-tech sector—ranging from life sciences and advanced digital tech to materials and sustainability—with the goal of turning scientific and technological research into viable business ventures.

What the Program Offers

The initiative is structured into two dedicated tracks:

• Incubation Program: Designed for early-stage teams and projects.

• Acceleration Program: Dedicated to already incorporated startups ready to scale their growth.

Who Can Apply

• Established Innovative Startups: Companies with a registered office or operational unit in Emilia-Romagna.

• Unincorporated Teams: Early-stage teams without a formal company, provided they commit to registering a VAT number within the specified timeline if selected.

• National Applicants: Open nationwide across Italy; non-regional applicants can apply on the condition that they open an operational unit in Emilia-Romagna.
