Start Cup Toscana 2025 is the premier competition highlighting the most innovative business ideas emerging from academic research. Promoted and funded by the Tuscany Region as part of the Giovanisì project, the Start Cup serves as the regional qualifying round for the National Innovation Award (PNI).

The top three winners receive a cash prize and the opportunity to compete in the national finals, scheduled to take place in Ferrara on December 4th and 5th.

On October 23, 2025, during the finals held at the Polo Le Benedettine (University of Pisa), first place was awarded to Lachesis Bio. This groundbreaking project from the Scuola Normale Superiore is coordinated by Sara Bagnoli.
