Normale participates in projects to promote technology transfer actions of intellectual property and the valorization of its research results.

JUMP project

Normale is a partner in the JUMP project (Joint Universities‘ prograM for PoC), along with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the University of Palermo. This program, funded by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, aims at valorizing patents and funding Proof of Concept projects. In the two editions, 2021 and 2023, the project has facilitated the valorization of two patents.

Knowledge Share

Normale contributes to the Knowledge Share platform, dedicated to valorization of the research results generated by universities, IRCCS, and EPRs present in the national territory.

Toscana Open Research

Normale is among the partners of URTT – Regional Office for Technology Transfer, which aims to support universities and high schools in their third mission activities. It seeks to define shared strategic actions for valorizing research towards small and medium-sized regional enterprises. Normale participates in various initiatives organized by URTT such as Toscana Open Research, the portal of the Tuscany Region to communicate and valorize the research, innovation, and higher education system in Tuscany, as well as Tuscan Inventors Day, thematic events for patent valorization and for connecting innovation demand with supply.

JoTTO Fair

Normale is actively involved in organizing JoTTO Fair, the biennial initiative of the High Schools designed to facilitate the meeting between research and the business world.
